Alloy 625 Plus® is a precipitation-hardenable alloy, which displays corrosion resistance similar to that of A718. In the age hardened condition, A625 Plus offers exceptional resistance to stress-corrosion cracking as well as general pitting and crevice corrosion.
Applications could be considered where severe corrosive environments are of concern, such as deep sour gas wells and a variety of refining and chemical process applications. Marine environments could be considered a candidate where A625 Plus has proven success. The higher strength capability of A625 Plus may also be useful for fasteners, shafts and hangers.
